2009 R6 grinding in first gear?

So I just bought a 2009 R6 and I can't recall noticing it when I rode it home, but I hear some grinding when starting out in first gear. So either when I'm putting really slowly down my driving with nothing other than the clutch out it sounds sorta like a tractor. Or when I go from a stop and am releasing the clutch when giving gas if I don't release clutch slowly while giving more gas it makes the same noise but louder... Anyone know anything about this?
