What is the most frightening thing that has happened to you?

Easy - when my daughter was around 6 or 7, we were in a restaurant. She went to the bathroom around the corner. I went to check on her, and she wasn't there! A side exit door was open, and I lost it. My brother in law looked outside, nothing. He went in the men's room, and there she was, propped up on the sink, looking in the mirror. She had just lost a tooth, and was checking it out. That was a scary moment!
