Best place to live between Ohio and Florida?

I live in Florida (never been to ohio so you might need a second opinion) and it's not all its cut out to be. Despite the fact that we have a beach just a few miles away, there's never anything to do, unless you know the right people. Plus, nearly everyone here is a bad driver and its impossible to find a job and a place to live, depending on where you move. There are some quirks though, but the decision is ultimately yours.
