Baby shower invitation, would this offend anyone?

Sounds good, but rather expensive. I would feel like I was required to buy more than one gift. Books and diapers are expensive, plus the usual baby shower gift off the registry. If you know the guests can afford it, do so. The wording isn't offensive. If you are unsure of the guests financial status, you might want to change it so it doesn't sound like books are required.
