Crushed my finger help!!?

I was detaching a trailer from my tractor today by hand, the hinged part of the trailer pinched my pinky finger to the point of it changing colours,, red, yellow, orange.. The actual force of the impact was enough to split the skin open in several places on the tip of my finger, and in one place it is like the flesh uderneath has literally been gently squeezed out to the point where there is a bleeding protruding lump about 1mm in Height.. Not much I know, but it hurts like **** and I want to know how I can reduce the pain! Thanks! Also any advice on stopping the bleeding would be helpful thanks !
