Does anybody have a BBQ Galore Bar B Chef Offset Smoker?

I have this smoker and love it..It does need some care from time to time but I have one problem. The firebox handle it came with melted off. I need to replace the handle and I'm wondering if anybody out there has had to do the same thing. If so, please let me know what you did to make it right.
