I need boyfriend help! -VERY URGENT-?

I've been dating my boyfriend for 2 weeks now. He lives about 30 minutes away and we see eachother every 3 weeks. Yesterday I surprised him at his school play. It was going pretty well. Now here I'm going to mention that I'm a secret. He won't tell his friends I'm his girlfriend because he's afraid of their opinion (WTF?) and thinks they'll break us up. So anyway, my friend took me down to his school and we met up with a friend of hers. Her friend tells her, "I think (my boyfriend's name) is gonna ask me out." And here's where drama slaps us in the face. My friend tells her I'm his girlfriend and she freaks out and leaves to yell at my boyfriend. Now I'm not allowed backstage so I had to sit there and do nothing. When the show ended, my boyfriend came out and hugged me. Then he was suddenly surrounded by girls and fangirls galore and my friend grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the mob. I spent the next 25 minutes watching him talk to his friends and not adknowledge me AT ALL. My friend had to yell at him to come talk to me and when we talked, I asked him what it was he'd been doing, leading on a girl for 2 weeks (coincedence that's how long we've been going out?) and not mentioning me. He told me it's something he 'naturally does.' Am I freaking out about this situation too much? I love him to death and he loves me. He also doesn't lie. And that's not a lie, he really can't lie. Right now he's ignoring me. Are we falling apart or do we need a break?
