Ideas for concentrating sunlight into my studytable?
Hello, im a 16 year old boy and need your idea. So my room has two considerably large windows from where sunshine galore. Although the room at day is very well illuminated my study table does not receive enough light for me, to well, study. So i have to use my lamp, and hence draw the curtains so that no sunlight can affect the lamp, and the whole of the bulb's light can be concentrated on my table. However i want to utilize the sunlight to its maximum point, and save energy as well. So i am thinking of an idea that would enable me to concentrate all the sunlight onto my table. I am thinking something like a tube or something that'l be on the roof, (above my room), and open up(spread out) for sunlight, which will then travel down to my room through the tube, and produce light wherever pointed. It is an idea in progress and i know it has some flaws, but on the top of my mind im guessing optic fibers or mirrors, but i am trying to stick to the things i can make at my house( except stuff i can buy for cheap). Anyone with any ideas are welcomed. Thank you
