Is it weird that I have been wanting to change my name?

Ever since I was little I've wanted to change my name which is Gary Lee John Olguin Jr. I hate it! I personally dislike the name Gary in the first place. Anyway, I'm 17 and want to change my name before my senior year, do you think people will be weirded out though? I was thinking about just changing it to Jon Olguin or something else. The thing is is that people know me as Gary Olguin and my family calls me Garylee. Plus, all of my names are from men in my family. Can someone give me advice or guidance to make my final decision please? I don't want my family to think I'm trying to be someone else and my friends to be confused. :-\ (I'm not even sure what I would name myself, that's weird.)
